People seem to forget Vance is an Ohio politician picked by Trump to help him win states such as Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan... all of which he did win in 2024. If 2028 is Vance vs. a California politician like Newsom, I don't like the Democratic Party's odds, because I think Vance would clobber him in the Rust Belt, and they can't win the White House without it.
