Nothing changed.
Trump sent National Guard troops to break up a protest in a two block area where there were more photographers and reporters than protestors.
They stood around for a while then left. It was a complete waste of taxpayer money and did nothing but generate headlines for the right wing outrage machine. To be fair that summarizes Trump's entire presidency, but this was a particularly egregious example.
