redditors literally believe that catholic churches is where they killed women & babies and disposed of the skeletons out back
their reason for believing this? well they hate christians so it fits into their worldview perfectly. their 'evidence'?' is that a catholic run orphanage and home had excavations at a graveyard and bodies were found. Oh no!
hundreds of years ago, over generations, this baby home, at a time when infant mortality was through the roof, and babies were stillborn, with babies sent there from all over the country (population 8million), and famine was ravaging the land.... in their poverty ridden fields without modern tools etc the bodies were buried as best as the people there could.
what do redditors start to pass on as fact? that the catholic church killed them, and now its the fact of the land.
id love to see what this redditor was going to do if he was transported back in time 200 years ago to a winter in a wet, plagued land and see how hes going to bury all the kids dying of disease and shit like that
the bullshit rumours they spread that the babies were 'thrown into a septic tank' even though septic tanks didnt exist 200years ago and that the word septic came from some diggers description of the area or that it was near a modern day septic area. Septic tanks were only invented in late 19th century and certainly would have taken a few decaded to be constructed in rural ireland, so you allready know the story was horseshit.
and the exaggeration, the lies, first its a few bodies , next someone tacks on the septic tank part, then its hundreds of bodies, that died naturally, then someone exaggerates that they were murdered and suddenly thats the fact now.
