At most of these events outlets don't actually have their own cameras, they'll contract out to a 3rd party or state operated camera and buy the rights to use the footage. It makes for a huge legal clusterfuck when someone "unauthorized" rebroadcasts or utilizes the press area footage because technically any of the entities who paid for access to that live stream for broadcast purposes have some sort of legal position to make a claim in certain circumstances, so youtube has to take action even if it ends up overturned on appeal because using the footage after the fact in a nonlive context doesn't violate the use contract bloomberg signed.

There was a big gay controversy about this exact kind of shit in the context of courtroom footage a few years back between a big law rebroadcaster and a bunch of lawcommentary streamers.
