A guy on a skateboard was doing something similar (as similar as a skateboard can be to a bike) by riding on the footpath and expecting people to jump out of his way. So i braced myself and put my shoulder to him (which would knock him off the board and I'd probably still be standing) and this forced him to jump off the board. He acted really exasperated like I skipped him in a queue or threw some litter on the ground but didnt get angry and he didnt say a word.

Then I walked on. I played some applause in my headphones.
