That's what autism actually is. Minor social awkwardness and aspergers isn't really autism. In fact, if one ever feels like they don't fit in socially, they'd find that in other cultures nobody would even assume they were "autistic".

That’s a very kind way of saying it’s a cope, but like you I don’t look down on parents who are stuck with a violent retard. Everyone lies to themselves to varying degrees to deal with difficult situations or realities in life. However I do have absolute disdain for people who have a severely disabled child and then choose to keep reproducing. Anyone who brags on social media about their four autistic children should be lined up against a wall and shot along with all of their offspring.
