Food drops are inefficient and often downright ineffective. They’re used as an absolute last resort or as a publicity stunt. It’s much easier to use trucks, but it’s also a lot easier to blow those trucks up and claiming they were part of an enemy convoy while hiding that fact in the fog of war.
