Any "God" is based around the single concept of an individual entity. An individual, with a self-awareness, is immediately subject to every condition that mortal individuals experience, such as a sense of self, an identity, a growth phase, emotions, etc.. Life does not exist without these elements, so if a God does not experience them, what kind of life is it?

This is just one of many, many important questions anyone thinking about the subject would ask.

A better test would be to have pencil like objects standing all in rows and have names of gods inscribed on them and then see which gods names get knocked over, meaning they moved it. But you’d also have to ward the place against trickster spirits and poltergeists if you’re assuming any supernatural thing may exist, but not knowing the proper wards would possibly ruin the whole experiment. Maybe do a series of balls and balanced sticks to be able to determine which gods are willing to move an object at request.
