I noticed that people both in the West and in Russia tend to underestimate the amount of influence the US culture has on my country. It's been that way since the 90s. The most popular music is pop and hip-hop clearly copying the US producers. Movies and tv series are all Hollywood. And the most popular food is still McDonalds.

The only grasp the Chinese culture has on the minds of Russian youth is gacha games and female-oriented Xianxia novels, that's it.
How are we supposed to "drift towards Asia away from the West" the way it is - I have no idea.
