Reddit is doing our job for us, and most users here are US.
It will pass though. Even with the undecided voting against it, the ones that are in support of it outweigh them.
Also the access they get is the same as they already have in the US, Australia and possibly Germany and Britain.
So it unfortunately is a case of the EU being behind the development and just trying to get it passed to keep up, and unfortunately there have been a lot of attention on CSAM lately and also Russian hacking etc. so there's enough fear and disturbance among common politicians to believe its use will solely be for good.
