The harsh reality is a guy like this is going to have to fight for unskilled manual labor jobs. It’s very rare that people teach advanced age and truly have no skills and ability to just kill what they eat, but it happens and those people are functionally no different from teenage labor, maybe a bit worse actually. It’s the lowest spot on the totem pole in the job market sadly.

But the good news is that you can change that relatively quickly. The main things working against people in the job market are a lack of skills and lack of experience (indicator of reliability). Getting any shitty job, showing up, and putting in effort for a year can address the latter quite easily.

A hard truth that young guys aren’t taught when they’re young is that your life is literally a combination of what you do and who with. And sadly some tasks and some people are less valuable than others. Waste your life and you’ll pay the price for it. It’s never too late to start now but the tragedy of time is you can’t get it back.

If there’s one silver lining in all this is that someone who finds themselves in this situation has two really obvious tasks they can take up to make their life worth it. They can either transmute the suffering of their situation into art or they can conquer their situation as a hero and live as a symbol for others to follow. Is it possible for me? 27 with no work experience and no friends. Went to uni for a meme degree in 2016 and dragged my feet through it. Covid hit and I got depressed and never took the vax so I couldn't participate in a lot of things. I got into great shape and have been going to community college for the past year for automotive because I like cars and want to help people keep their vehicles on the road in an era where new cars are cost cutting overly complex spyware mobiles. I hate seeing this a lot. It is OCD, entirely. He has a narrative in his head that he can't break out of. He is paralyzed, confused, can't talk, can't think, the only thing he knows how to do is to be inside and play video games, and he's become obsessed with that. If you give him a passion, he would obsess over that and make a lot of money off it.

This guy still has it better than the average wagie millennial that got married in their late 20s, had a kid, and is now being divorce raped in their 30s. And this person I'm talking about isn't some made up strawman, from personal experience this exact thing is happening to millions of men.
