I wish you were right but I don't see it.
The only way this has any massive immediate impact is if the Truml admin uses this event as pretext for some kind of crackdown on leftist activists or political speech.
But if not then I think there will be nothing anyone will be able to point to in hindsight and say 'this happened because of the Charlie Kirk assassination.'
No nationwide protests. No retaliatory attacks. No immediate escalation of political violence.
Maybe we will look back and say that this was a turning point in the political conscious of America. At the very least I hope this will mark the final end of the narrative that political violence in modern America is the exclusive purview of the right, a sentiment that is an obvious lie but is believed by many millions of people due to the Jan 6 circus pushed by the Dems and the media.
