This is questionable. Kirk was wearing a vest and the fact he died was sheer luck on the part of the shooter because his plate stopped the bullet, what killed him was it bouncing off and hitting him right in the neck.

The shooter clearly aimed center of mass, 200 yards is fairly close. He may have been using a lower power rifle like an AR-15 which couldn't penetrate the vest. That's one strike against that theory. The other is that in the previous assassination attempts on Trump, a professional wasn't used. They used disposable retards tied to them with shady pasts they could groom and use, Crooks and Routh. Crooks was shot at the scene, Routh attempted to get away, was caught and we haven't heard a single word from him or his trial since then.
