Free him
He's the patsy. No wonder he's "not cooperating." There is literally no photo or video of him with a rifle on campus, or on the roof. No video or photo of him shooting. That's almost certainly because he's not the shooter. He clearly realizes he's being framed. Somebody convinced him to climb up on the roof, and his only real crime is probably trespassing. At least that's the way it looks right now. New evidence can emerge to change all this, but so far there's literally nothing linking him to the actual shooting act. They will kill an innocent guy that just wants to fuck some trannies
