i tip because i might want to return to that restaurant. i used to work at a casual-type sit down chain. the waitresses were insane, they would actively adulter any orders for known non tippers, never trust women to take the high road. the chefs complied because 1 word from a female employee and they're fired for sexual harassment. if you didnt tip, there was shit, floor dust, etc, somewhere in your meal.

1. No US company will pay this fee
2. US companies will also not change their hiring standards and exclusively hire American
3. Many of these positions will be automated, or moved overseas mostly to India, or existing workers in US will be pushed to do more work. Goodbye Wlb.
4. American workers who hope this H1b fee will get them jobs are going to be disappointed
5. More than the 100k fees collected, we will lose far more income taxes from these H1b workers, causing a net loss to US

Thats bullshit. She did not work 70 hours if that was her pay. Server wage is like 2.75? Maybe a bit more, im not looking it up, plus overtime. Servers have a minimum wage job. If their tips plus server wage does not add up to normal min wage, they will be given the difference.
Tips are a BONUS. They should be grateful for whatever they get. If they dont like their pay, they can negotiate a higher rate, or find a different job. Stop with these bullshit threads.
