They're getting fired because they have massive salaries from years of being pushed and promoted by friendly tech algorithms and political connections with the dnc. But tech isn't liberal anymore, and network tv is old out of touch and dying. Network tv can't sustain their huge salaries, office buildings, and staff. These media personalities are also hard to fire because they're well connected in industry and have great contracts from when they were artificially popular. This is a good opportunity to fire them and save tens of millions of dollars. The dnc are secretly ok with it too because they know these guys aren't effective promoters anymore, and they'd rather spend that money catching up in the influencer game.
