Russia Reportedly Moves Tanks in Biggest Redeployment Since Kyiv Offensive
Something big is going to happen, and no one is even talking about it. Russia is moving huge amounts of tanks and other equipment to the Donetsk front. Don't be surprised when Russia delivers a quick and decisive Knock-Out punch. All that has been happening up to now is a slow and grinding war of attrition. But that involved artillery and FABs blowing the Ukrainians to smithereens. But the lines didn't move much because tanks weren't being used, but now the tanks are coming back into play. So it looks like the war is going to now shift from a slow-rolling war of attrition to one of maneuver. But that war of attrition took a heavy toll on the Ukrainians, and you can be sure that they won't be strong enough to withstand this punch when it comes.

Russia don't have any tanks. And even if they did (which they don't) they haven't figured out a counter to fpv drones.

Nope. Drones aren’t magic.
Both sides use tanks a lot, though in a different fashion as war dynamics have changed from early months.
And in any case it’s not drones that prevent concentration, it’s drones plus artillery.

Tanks are useless nowadays, anti-tank weaponry (specifically drones) are simply too ubiquitous. You'll take your grinding WW1 era trench warfare and you'll LIKE it!

I don't see any reason to continue fighting conventional wars. It's a tremendous waste of time and resources.
It's better to make the war intolerable for the oppressor's population.
It's clear non-kinetic sanctions have little effect. So we're left with little choice now.

By the way you only see hits and even then you don’t see the aftermath often.
With improved protection and improved electronic warfare equipment and techniques, it takes like 60 FPV drones to knock out a tank.
Sure, that’s doable, but every single sortie needs to be flown by someone.
And how many trained FPV operators do you think there are?
That’s why drones aren’t the threat you people think they are, at least until we develop proper GAI.
If Russians manage to concentrate a tank regiment somewhere and avoid getting raped by artillery in the process, they aren’t stopping that with dinky Chinese drones.

Looking forward to the turret toss footage. At this point in the war tanks will be dead simple for fully autonomous AI drones to pick out, so most EW won't help protect them.

Ukies have endless amounts of real combat footage to train an AI to recognize tanks and other vehicles. These models can be run very effectively on smartphone tier hardware. Given all the other advances in drone tech they've made I find it hard to believe they don't have cheap AI drones ready.

they have been driving huge armored columns into prepared defenses the entire war and they never worked, unless they learned and changed strategy (which i doubt because russians are retarded), it will probably go the same way.
on top of that autumn is coming and most fields will be full of mud so mobility will be a problem.
they had the whole summer to do this and they waited for the worst possible time lol.

That's why i bet this is only a forces rotation. If there was a big deployment, Ukrainians were screaming about it from every western media possible.

Another sensational headline.
Last time, Russia gathered 120,000 people in one of the areas, according to British intelligence, and something was supposed to happen in the summer, but nothing happened.

Russian pal is right, you don't see what we see in our 100500 Telegram channels every day.
Tanks are now more of a reconnaissance unit than a combat vehicle. Drones have also made mass landings and assaults impossible. All the doctrines that were still relevant 10 years ago are now irretrievably outdated.
