I have a camera with a dove and flowers as a half sleeve. My friend who passed away was a photographer from the first day we met in third grade, and continued to be at specialized art schools in high school and college and ultimately professionally. For me, tattoos represent a sort of an aesthetic violation. They ruin the purity and beauty of skin. I have some pretty heavy scarring on my left leg, and it's honestly about as aesthetically pleasing as tattoos. That is to say, not very.
