What more do I need to say. This image is fact. Why would it take 53,000km for a ship to circumnavigate antarctica but only 40,000km to circumnavigate the entire earth?
and before anyone says "its probably because they stuck so close to the land that they counted the length of every nook and cranny" nope. here is a route of a circumnavigation.

And the peninsula is much more milder climate than mainland. I read there’s enough tourism that several arctic plant species and a few bugs are spreading just from the tiny amount of dirt on their shoes. Plus the earth is tilted and always faces in one direction. It holds its tilt in the same direction away from the sun which explains why spring fall is the same amount and halfway through its orbit the summer/winter is more dramatic in amount of sunlight received.

Me: a flat earther retard with a tiny dick says "Why would it take 53,000km for a ship to circumnavigate antarctica but only 40,000km to circumnavigate the entire earth?" how is he wrong?
Grok: The flat-earther's claim is wrong because it misrepresents Earth's geometry and the distances involved in circumnavigation. Here's why:Earth is a Globe, Not Flat: On a spherical Earth, the circumference around the equator is approximately 40,075 km, based on Earth's diameter of about 12,742 km. Antarctica, being a continent near the South Pole, has a much smaller circumference. The coastline of Antarctica is roughly 17,968 km, not 53,000 km, as measured by scientific surveys like those from the British Antarctic Survey.
Misunderstanding Circumnavigation: Circumnavigating Antarctica means sailing around its coastline, which is far smaller than the Earth's equatorial circumference. The claim of 53,000 km for Antarctica is baseless and contradicts measured data. Circumnavigating the Earth typically refers to traveling around the equator or along a great circle (like the meridians), which is always around 40,000 km.
Flat Earth Model Fails: In a flat Earth model, Antarctica is often depicted as an "ice wall" encircling a flat disk, with a supposed circumference much larger than the equator's. This leads to the erroneous claim of a 53,000 km circumnavigation. However, real-world measurements, including satellite imagery, GPS, and ship logs, confirm Antarctica’s coastline is much shorter, consistent with a globe.
Source of the Error: The 53,000 km figure likely stems from flat Earth misinformation, possibly misinterpreting the Antarctic Circle’s circumference (about 15,900 km at 66.5°S latitude) or fabricating numbers to fit their narrative. No credible data supports this claim.

>The length of the Antarctic coastline is difficult to measure precisely and varies depending on whether ice shelves are included. A commonly cited figure for the ice-free coastline is 17,968 km (11,165 mi), but the perimeter of the entire ice edge, including ice shelves, can be as high as 53,610 km (33,312 miles).
Seems like the confusion lies in how the perimeter is measured.
