I read a bunch about this case at the time, and again more recently. The best I can figure from all the information is that he was role playing with single mums via messages, and also had csam on his computer. There's actually no official source stating he physically did anything.

If you think about it, he was sentenced to death for being a coroner. Which is sort of hilarious.
