I had a wonderful time in Spain for about two months. It's a beautiful country, the southern california of Europe.

Now Barcelona is fucking overcrowded. I paid $100/night for a freaking bunk bed in a hostel room with 11 other beds. Absolutely nuts. They need to figure something out there. I could never live in Barcelona, it's just too overcrowded. But Madrid was perfect.

Britain will come to Spain's aid. Open the borders, rev up the ryanair planes, remove the balcony railings and make the lager flow.

The French have no reason to go to spain anymore because its just as expensive as the south of France now so they vacation in their own country, the south of france is also just better, by a lot.

Mallorca was a genuine hot spot for German boomers who owned holiday homes there. The oldest boomers are pushing 80 and not flying anymore.

I left Bruges because it became tourism theme park. Here's how that plays out : Buy or rent appartment impossible, the owners just turn everything into a B&B cuz €300/night.
