Pretending this is hard to pronounce is the worst meme
>wuh
>ster
>shur
Yes the spelling is misleading, that doesn't mean everytime you say it you have to have a reddit attack and go "wostishstushsushtershersher" and wait for everyone to clap

My yank friend sent me some A1 Steak Sauce and despite its reputation its just watery HP Brown Sauce

In the world of Worcestershire sauce, this is apparently one of the worst, but other than "flavor," I don't know what the basis is.

I depends on the steak. If the steak is terrible, it becomes a lubricant to get it down.

only tasteless niggers that don't know how to cook use steak sauce here
a little salt, some fresh ground pepper, and a little butter is all you need for peak steak

I had a 20 year old bottle. Eventually I bought a new one and it tasted like a completely different product. I never really knew what it was supposed to taste like.

I learned about this stuff from the leafs and it is superior to a1 imo. When I use the lea and Perrins I don't use other sauce though

I don't get it, either. I only eat it on steak sandwiches where the steak is tough and has to be cut 1/8" thick to get it to be chewable.
That doesn't happen often. My parents never found value in good steak, and my mom cooked every one of them well-done, and that was a long time ago.

It's a fermented product, so a different taste isn't necessarily bad. My hot sauces taste way better a year later.

So these guys were the first? So when other people say other sauces are better, they're talking about bullshit that differs from the original?

The supermarket here makes a perfect knockoff for 20% of the price.
The anchovies probably trip some old addiction to garum.

the american made worcestershire sauce you get in american supermarkets are awful, they have no spices or onions or anything, its literally just chemicals and tastes like transmission fluid. I cant believe they can get away with using the name worcestershire sauce

I did a lot of research on this sauce about 8 years ago when I started eating keto/palio and from everything I could find it was legit, meaning I couldn't find anything bad in it or wrong with it as long as it is the original Lea Perkins brand and not one of the knock off brands because they have all kinds of shit in them. It's one of the very very few sauces I found I could still eat.

It's not hard to pronounce, but it's hard to remember, cause there are god knows how many -cester words in English, and they are pronounced randomly, either "chester" or "ster". I don't care enough to remember them all.
