It's getting worse and worse. Used to have no state income tax, so there was no money, and the roads were built as cheap as possible, generally shitty infrastructure. Comparison to NY state next door is night and day.
Now they have to pay and pay to patch the shitty infrastructure but it is never ripped out and replaced with better. Taxes in CT are almost as high as in NY now, and services are much less.
