Corsica is just fundamentally Italian. Lotharingia, obviously German. French Catalonia obviously Spanish, Flanders, Hainaut, Artois and Calais obviously Dutch and Flemish.

Brittany is a nation of its own. What are your thoughts on this? How politically different do you think Europe would be if this happened

I suppose Brittany is a nation of it's own only in the same way that Cornwall is in England. Celtic people's with a distinct culture to the rest of the country.
I can't comment on the others, though I know Germany was cut up after ww1 and again after ww2

You're actually wrong. France should be slightly bigger and have at least all of Wallonia, the Saarland, and Luxembourg. Though Nice and Corsica should be Italian again but not Savoie, however I think your whole scenario is gay and all the Western Latin nations should unite into a new Western Roman empire, and Marseille should be razed.
