What connection does Germany have with Turkey, or Italy with Morocco? And why are we ignoring centuries of invasions, occupation and slave raids from that region into Spain? Assuming that the process of globalization had not been halted by the non-colonization of America and that therefore this region had eventually been connected to global trade and technological exchange, I imagine that there would be an Inca state throughout the Andes mountain range and a series of vassal states that pay tribute to the Inca Inti. In other words, colonization was more or less inevitable for the people who lived here simply because no tribe or decentralized people can compete with the resources that a state can mobilize. What would have changed is who carried out that colonization. The Inca Empire (or its successor) would be the most powerful state in South America, and the rest would be vassal states or viceroyalties of that empire.

Millions of people will die as a result of it, and it will not make the world any fairer, or punish those whom you accuse of original guilt, nor will it teach them to show any greater empathy in the future.

The lesson of this age is that attempting to "get back" at white people will make white people much more cruel and racist than they have ever been at any time before. And when this happens (it is happening now) no amount of justification is going to dissuade them.
