don't know. facing that very choice as we speak. I think I am going to walk around Australia, sleeping on the sand at the beaches and die of exposure

I've been both, neither is that bad.
Homelessness is pretty tolerable if you can stay fucked up on drugs and alcohol most of the time. Prison is tolerable because you can spend most of the day doing some easy as shit job and spend your free time running a commissary shop and betting food on sports games. People can also send you books while you're in there.

If you're all alone with no money, both suck.

to expand on this, being on probation for years is unironically worse than prison and homelessness combined

Homeless because I'm more likely to die.

People live rough in cold countries i think youd be fine. Although theyre usually drunk or smacked out
Anonymous (ID: plxejFxF) Canada No.518905029 [Report]
If I was in a Scandinavian country, prison.

If I was in California, homeless/shelter.

In Canada your best option is MAID.

Homeless. When you're homeless you're still surrounded by convicts but you can always go somewhere else and you don't have to play their games.

Already am. Starting to get cold again. Haven't slept so good in months. I prefer freedom to anything. The world is built on systems designed to manipulate you. Money isn't real, and if politicians were even slightly a net positive we'd live in a fucking utopia.

>haven't slept so good in months

Are you out there sober? do you have a decent sleeping bag? I hope you do well as we head into fall and winter my man.

I can only speak for myself but I slept pretty comfortably with a belly full of liquor tucked into my military sleep system

I got wheels. I'm more of a societal conscientious objector. Painfully sober. Sometimes, I wish my problem with the world was intoxication. Everything's just bullshit and I don't want to indulge it. I work only rarely.

Prison
I’ve seen homeless interviews and know people who’ve been in prison. Being homeless basically means you’re going to be a drug addict who remains homeless forever. At least prison has an end date

>At least prison has an end date
lmao
>get out of prison
>you have to find and maintain gainful employment
>you have to take piss tests (that you pay for)
>you can't associate with other people who are on probation
>a bunch of other arbitrary rules are placed on you

You wouldn't believe how many people end up violating their probation only to end back up in the system

Idk, when I worked shitty blue collar jobs they would take people fresh out of prison all of the time, that’s how I knew people who’ve did time
These jobs pay way more than wagie jobs too

Free. In prison my time is spent how others want. I can do something about my homelessness, but in prison I can do shit about my freedom.
