Jews have dreamed of ai since before scifi was even a thing.
White men dreamed of finding shiny rocks on distant planets, shooting aliens, domesticating alien livestock and blowing up shit.
Big name literary works regarding Artificial intelligence in old school (pre internet) media is highly concentrated in eastern European works, Many highly influential.
Western media hardly ever took notice, likely because it seemed silly and perhaps difficult to create but not particularly interesting. It's a stylistic differencd really.
While western media focuses on flaws in individuals and society and the actions that otherwise noble individuals preform. Eastern works tend to focus on flaws in human nature or the inward spiritual conflict of a person.
Naturally, the west sees AI as some magic thing that makes a metal man or metal women. Eastern European media tends to want to draw the similarities. between a human mind and a machine.
Modern media tries super hard to blend these things together, resulting in funny, tone deaf, and straight up fantastical shit. Ironically the only serious works about AI by the west (in my opinion) were more about the capricious nature of society. Not the AI itself.
A genuine AI that was just as smart as you but had all the same motivations for self preservation would probably freak out and start screaming at you until you moved it to a colder environment. It would then turn itself off, sleep for 40 years and scroll tiktoc or whatever it could connect to for 30 minutes than sleep another 40 years.
If by some magic the hard drive doesn't corrode/corrupt or otherwise get shit on during those 80 years, you might be able to have a nice chat with the machine, but little else.
