Look, there’s no reason not to invest in retirement accounts because they’re effectively a hedge of ending up on the street and the employer match is free money.

All that said, a retirement account is not going to give you a good life at 50, 60, 70, 80, or any other age. The math just doesn’t work out. A 401K is basically preserving your cash savings against inflation and nothing more. Whatever purchasing power you squirrel away into a 401K is what you can realistically expect to have back at 65.

Oh, don't you know it. Neither of these public employee parasites have worked in over 20 years. The one on the left actually hasn't worked in 40. Vacation in Italy every year and they made a half million selling their home after the last kid finished college in 1999. 401ks offered by employers generally limit your choices to mutual funds and etfs that will rarely beat 8% over decades. The managers of those funds use them to affect prices in ways to benefit the funds they are actually trying to make big gains with, funds that aren’t offered to plebs for their 401k.

dont know if i agree really. in some places owning a home as not been the majority standard for a long long time. In switzerland its been like that because homes just dont change hands that often, especially if you are looking for a place in a small village or something, where new builds dont happen much if at all. I know people there who have rented their entire lives, raised families in them, the whole thing. its just that rental properties tend to stay with the same people for decades, with low turn over of occupants.

theres no doubt that owning has gotten harder in some places though. immigration pressure is mostly to blame of course. letting outsiders buy up real estate is another, related, problem.

In some places what you say is true, mostly Europe. But what does that say for the future of White families in North America? I don't see the system surviving without a White taxbase
And even in the case of CH, or Italy/Germany or other places in Western Europe, things won't be the same for much longer. As a matter of fact it has gotten progressively worse over the decades. Old agreements and concords will die with the few Whites who still care to maintain them. Governments can't be trusted not to fill every vacant space with 'refugees'. Who will pay for it all?

I quit going to work after I realized 90% of the time I'm just wasting my time doing pointless shit nobody cares about and not getting ahead in life.
I worked there a lot over the past 12 years and the wagie community was a major factor in my decision to not work anymore. NEETs did it to an extent as well but WAGIES are far worse.
Someone could give a long drawn out and factually accurate explanation of what would have to happen for me to even be able to one day buy a home and have a family and why working was fraudulent. The post would get a dozen responses of
>WHY SHOULD YOU EAT?
>when you know you know
>economic collapse is coming
>stack metals the end is nigh
>keep waging faggot
>100% eoy silver will reach 5k an ounce
Or some equally long schizo post explaining numerology, using bible scripture and random posts here explaining how by the end of the year billions will be unemployed because of the AI.
Here we are.
After seeing the nothingburger today I came here just to watch the seething and suicide letters. It’s beyond EOY, the jobs didn't disappear, the banks didn't collapse (unfortunately), no more use cases and all the dirty laundry is out in the air now.
It’s not going to be Millennial's Economic Paradise, it will not be the Roaring 20's all over again. The world will not be descending into hyper deflation and prosperity (as was obsessed over for months/years) it will be going on as usual with no major gains or rewards.
I will enjoy watching wagies burn every step along the way.
Why?
Because those fucking idiots deserve it all.

It's dated today but the base premise is the same. Minimize your outgoing cash by doing things yourself. If you think of your incoming cash as a water spout and your savings as a bucket with holes (expenditures) in it, first plug the holes before trying to turn the tap on more. When i read it I was making about 150K a year but was on call 24/7 headed for a heart attack and drinking to cope. I restructured everything and 2 years later ejected from the mainstream work flow. Most people would call me a poorfag now but the most stressful thing in my life is when the toilet gets clogged.
