Suicidal people typically don’t think about how their suicide would affect their loved ones. I mean the people who actually follow through, not the suicidals who are still in ideation phase.

Actual suicidals who are dead right now gave zero fucks about their friends or family. They might leave notes behind saying the contrary, but the action is what speaks, and their action shows they don’t care. That’s the reason they are suicidal, they lost the ability to care. Being suicidal is by default selfish. The suicidal person is too preoccupied with their own insecurities or fears or regrets or woes, entirely self-consumed. They don’t care that their death induces PTSD in those who were close to them. They don’t care that when they kill themselves, the chances of family or close friends comitting suicide later in life skyrockets. im not even entertaining this idea anymore. between the ages of 14 to around 28 i prayed to god to die. Tried 5 times and failed like a bitch every time except for the one when i od on meth and was reborb or shifted and just woke up like nothings wrong but with a very strong sense of dread and crippling anxiety which is still have to this day. Took therapy and 2 years of antidepressants to completely disable the wish and will to off myself. Now i just try to cruise through life and do things i like like playing vidya, going to gym, cleaning and most basic shit imaginable by 4chad standards. Your not wrong britbong, the thing is, there is a threshold that when crossed, leaves your situation unfixable without imprisonment to a way of life that will rob you of time and leave you with marginal improvements. Survival in society is chasing a quality of life in lockstep with your age. For instance, having your first car at age 18 isnt the same as owning your first car at age 43. This goes for both material and nonmaterial aspects.

The idea that after a certain age, even if your way of life improves, you will live a happy life or exactly as youve always wanted is negated by the fact that life has a tempo and rhythm which when lost, can never be caught up with again unless by miracle or a serendipitous outcome.

This leaves you with a few choices though:
Choice A: End it all with faith in the unknown that God will hear your wounds and put you into an everlasting peace. You are never going to know or experience an unlimited number of things. Which is why it does not matter if your life ends at 20 or 80 years of age. Its all the same to God, its all the same to you objectively. The idea that your life is a necessity is only rooted in a system that needs time and energy to sustain itself. The objective truth is, there is no X amount of things that separates a life worth living from a life not worth living. Live as you can, Die as you wish.

Option B: Take whatever pieces are left of your broken life, find a place it fits into and see it through until the lights go out and the curtains close. Unhappy and violent? Become a career criminal or join a PMC. Born into wealth? Hedonism. Just go with the flow, play your part and bow when the show is over. Just for the sake of it.

Now the choice between the two is dictated by its comfort or acceptability and existential coherence. It either needs to be comfortable and pleasurable OR it needs to make sense in a way by which suffering becomes background noise or enough to endure. A Pleasure/pain ratio.

It's true that existence is always better than nonexistence(excluding extreme edge cases). But ironically most well meaning successful normies don't even believe/understand this so when they give advice they just end up reinforcing the problems of the spiritually dead person "you just gotta do x bro, you can achieve x if you try hard".
For me the fix has been to largely accept social alienation and ridicule, two good friends are enough of a reward in an otherwise cruel life. I think even if they went away i could find enough solace in art
