Honestly though there's an argument to be had here that it's not a great indicator. Most people I know choose to go overseas for a holiday because it's cheaper than a domestic holiday. It costs more to take the ferry to tasmania and stay there for a few weeks, than to get a flight to bali/vietnam on sale and stay the same amount of time.
