This isn't a defense of Trump, but how do the No Kings Protestors define a monarch and in what way has Trump behaved as a monarch? Is it just that the idea of protesting against a king has a certain aesthetic or is a good slogan? Or do they genuinely believe he is a monarch?

I don't see a definition here that you'd be able to call Trump a monarch by that you wouldn't be able to call a prior president a monarch by as well.
