Its definitely a very interesting story of dynastic entanglements. But I‘d say thats par for the course of the time period. Not sure what I‘m supposed to have missed, or whats so special. I guess you could argue his son was heir to all of north africa/egypt, but it would have been irrelevant due to roman imperial/military control of the Mediterranean. All these former kingdoms were just provinces by this point. I also don’t why the church (which didnt even exist at this point) would care about covering him up.
