65% of americans also want to kill 7 billion people
Why should we give them everything they want?

Most people would be happy with just no more niggers. If removing food stamps can get us there it will be a merry Christmas for everyone.

The wording of that headline immediately raises suspicions, because this reeks of a poll that was phrased to force a conclusion.

Notice how they are not saying "65% of Americans want the government shutdown to end" or even "65% of Americans blame the democrats for the shutdown". Its done in this leading-question sort of way where it assumes an outcome and then asks if you want that thing, which ignores the other options by omission.

For example, lets say I'm a democrat and I want the democrats to get what they want out of the shutdown and for the government to re-open after. Does that count me as among the 65%? That counts as the democrats ending the shutdown, doesn't it? But it takes my support for them and re-phrases it as me being against them.

They're all voting to end it and have been since before the shutdown.
Which is funny since their base enjoys the shutdown much more.

The powers that be have a new system that has been in the development for decades now, ready to be rolled out in the coming years. It will operate in parallel starting sometime this year and by the next decade it will be fully operational as the Agenda 2030 goals are slowly being implemented.
Most people are dependent on government handouts (pensions, salaries, dividends, investments, etc.) and to provide security.
There will be no collapse, no violence, no uprising, no world war, no revolution, no killing of jews or politicians or other such fantasies. Instead there will be law & order, compliance and total surveillance until the very end. AI will be at the center of it all.

The Great Reset is inevitable.

I hate how withing the last 20 years like clockwork they use government funding to get their retarded shit passed. Both sides do it but its usually the weaker power that does it

I've been told by this board that Democratic approval ratings are so low it'd be practically impossible for them to drop further. What then is the incentive to vote for funding a government that has announced that funding will be weaponized against Democratic cities?

every poll is automatically a snapshot of people willing to respond to polls. that's already a particularly specific subset of people that i personally disagree with so i discard any poll-based opinion by reflex.

Dont miss that this poll was apparently done within the first 24 hours of the shutdown. It has basically no relevance to where the numbers stand now 20 days later.

From the President's point of view the Legislative Branch, The Judicial Branch etc, are a check on Executive Power. He can get more done with just a few 100 ICE, or military officers, if everyone else goes on a leave. He might personally pay them too.

So Democrats are threatening the President with good time.

They can't allow nigger riots over SNAP. That's when this ends. And or when it goes on long enough that the Reps get to fire enough opposition.

Yeah, its a lose-lose situation.

The real danger for both sides comes if the shutdown goes for another 10 days. No SNAP benefits for november primes the scene for not just food scarcity going into colder months, but Thanksgiving. People will flip their shit.
It takes a lot to drive people to riot most of the time, but "we are starving" literally always works. People can endure a lot of things quietly, but lack of food isn't one of them.
And if that turns into riots, the target of their anger won't be the democrats. Because what the Democrats are holding the shutdown over is to protect welfare programs like SNAP. The people most likely to be driven to riot are the ones that need the programs that the republicans are trying to cut, so its obvious who they will be for and against if it comes to a head

>In fiscal year 2024, SNAP spending averaged $187.20 per participant per month, across an average of 41.7 million participants. This results in approximately $7.8 billion in monthly SNAP benefits.
It would be so fucking hilarious if a "grocery store bailout" resulted from this

I'll err on the side of nothing ever happens and both sides come to some shitty last-minute compromise to avoid their heads being on pikes. I can't see the shut-down turning into The Purge for what amounts to political trolling
