lmao. Putin simply can't end the war. It's a matter of personal survival for him and his underlings now. And he's also terrified of the prospect of hundreds of thousands of angry vets returning home. He needs them to all die in Ukraine.

This could have been the world's easiest W for Trump ever. He would have won nobel prize and have europeans eating from his dick if he only had the balls to do what he said on campaign he was going to do. Tell Putin to stop the war, negotiate or else he'll send every weapon necessary to Ukraine to kill him. Simple. War would have been over in a week.

Classic tactic, it’ll happen but both sides have to do the fake walk away first.

There is no point in having Trump trying to negotiate with Putin. Trump turns around and support the last person he had a phone call with. We have seen this constantly over the past year.

I say that The US start focus on what happens in The US and forget about what goes on over here. Focus rather on business, ie sales of weapons etc, and thats it.

Trump try to negotiate on a diplomatic way while Putin knows only military works. And Putin have Trump around his little finger, so it is more of a shame for The US on the political scale than it is for Putin.
I think that a lot of the things going on in The US trying to generate money (since you need it) is what they should focus on. Better infrastructure and so on. A strong america means a strong west.

All these back and forth things does not lead anywhere sadly and we all knew that from the beginning. We can easily see that with The US and Israel also. Israel is a tiny country the size of a city in The US. And even that country steps on The US daily even tho US have tried.

There are too many countries over here with too many ideologies and perceptions on how to "fix" this war. So regardless if The US come up with the most brilliant idea that could actually work, half of the countries here will say this is wrong, will not work, is not good for Ukraine or good for anyone. We have heard that story a million times already.

The main problem over here is that leadership (if we can even call it that) dont like Trump because it does not fit their narrative. They are waiting for the next election to come up in hope of some ultra democrat taking over the Whitehouse and basically writes a blank check to Ukraine with a note that say: "We are very sorry for Trump being difficult these 4 years. We will remove all tariffs and all regulations, and we will add another 10 trillion to the debt so we can save you overseas.
Then the leaders here will get lazy again, pay far less to NATO and lead on the shoulders of The US again.

So half of those weapons will be wasted by incompetent inbiciles in ukraine, othe half sold on the black market.
Now the usa has no weapons and russiand have all the reasons to nuke the usa.
What's next in your grand plan?

In the beginning of war ukraine could have signed a deal that was way better than anything else ever suggested.
Then trump managed to negotiate a very favorable deal for ukraine. Just giving up the rest of a single region, intead of all 3. The region that will very soon be full in the hands of russian. Since then russian has concured way more territory than ukraine had to give up as per alaska deal.
So yea, those meetings do well. Are extremely effective at reaching a reasonable truce.
The only issue is that ukrainian government doesn't want any truce. They want more gibs and to steal more from those gibs. That's all they care about. They don't care about all ukrainians dyong or living without electricity and heating, as long as they have pocketed tens of billions in various offshores, and will pocket more.

Two can play this game. What stops russia from sending oreshniks or putting dozens of thousands of geran drones in shipping containers and launching them from the sea? The usa doesn't have any air defence left. Besides the usa built a very vulnerable power grid, so that only 6 missiles can disable it across althe whole country.
I would understand russia not wanting to cause a black out in europe as that would tank the oil and gass prices. But the usa is the largest oil producer. It would actually be beneficial to russia.

Anything we send to the Ukrainians, at least 50% of it is going to end up in the hands of corrupt Ukrainian oligarchs, who are going to turn around and sell it on the black market to people like Viktor Bout.
Whatever weaponry does end up getting sent to the contact line, or to a region from which it can be launched at Russia, will probably end up either not being fully functional by the time it reaches its destination due to more corruption and scavenging among the lower ranks, or - worse yet - captured by Russians before the retards in charge of Ukraine are able to figure out how to use it effectively against the Russians.

So what are they waiting for?
Every time the Ukrainians blow up Russian industry you people go "hahaha, this gives Russia permission to do such and such to the west" And then the Russians proceed to do nothing of the sort, repeat ad infinitum.
Fucking do something.

The demands are crazy, it s basically "let NATO take over and join the war". Why would Russia do that ? It would be WWIII.
