I lost my car the other day when I went to take a walk to blow off steam. What was supposed to be a 30min walk turned into 6hrs of walking in circles and I finally gave up and walked an hour home. Woke up barely able to walk but my fear of the screw up and my will took me back and another 2hrs of walking in circles. I gave up again praying and apologizing for being so careless and as soon as I finished my car appeared in front of me. Prayers do get answered.

Atheists have vastly higher rates of depression, homosexuality, promiscuity, broken families, and drug abuse. Humans need religion and it is undeniable that Western civilisation absolutely thrived under Christianity.

The wages of sin are death. Humans all sin. God loved us enough despite this that he became the Son of man himself and paid with his precious blood upon the cross so that even if our bodies may die, the spirit is spared the suffering, damnation, and obliteration of hell.

I'd say we owe everything to our LORD to at least genuinely try to be righteous and merciful to one another as he was to us. Even if we stumble and falter in that pursuit.
