I think it's probably different in Eastern Europe than in America. The same generational categories don't really apply in the same way until the most recent years.

I was raised by 1930's and 1960's people, I didn't get a smartphone until the late 2010's, and I was there to live through a pre-digital analog work for about 10 years.
