It's not even procedurally legitimate to do this combination of things, trampling 6th Amendment rights by preventing witnesses from even being identified. If their face was not caught on camera and their ID was not checked at the event, and also recorded properly, plus livestream viewers and so on, then witnesses cannot even be identified. They cannot actually find all of them. Further, the gag order was not even requested by the defense, the judge just arbitrarily decided to do it. This has every appearance of a kangaroo court, clearly intended to hide institutional misconduct that allowed the assassination to happen.
