Immigrants don't move to Canada, Australia or the USA to live among natives or in "native land" whatever that means

first off the 'natives' didnt hold all land in "Canada" they had some areas. No one owned land before settlers came in. Tribes would settle wherever and move when they had to in between killing each other. Since there were multiple tribes, which one would "own" Canada?
When the settlers arrived, they traded away the land, and the rest was conquered.
