He was the shadow of our heroes — showing that our so-called role models, leaders and champions of virtue were no better than he was, he was only hated for being their own reflection and acting as a mirror by which the moral facade of our entire society was laid bare. He pulled back the curtains and forced us to come to terms with our decadence. A necessary agent of chaos, he was a true anti-hero.
