Being with someone and not being married can still cause massive disputes in court over who owns what, whereas if you were married there's actually a degree of protection for you
If your girlfriend of 10+ years suddenly decided to change the locks of the house you both live in together, the police will tell you to leave and accuse you of trespassing, and access to your own goods would be disputed
Meanwhile you have to hire an expensive solicitor while she sells all of your shit and lives in a house you've bought together
She ironically could not do this if you were married though, something like a joint account isn't bothered with between two unmarried individuals so your girlfriend could drain it if you split up, but if she did this while you were married she'd get into shit for it
At least that's how things work in the UK
I'm not advocating for marriage though, just saying, marriage can be helpful sometimes
The ideal situation is never getting married and keeping records of everything you own, and never mingling your money with hers, so she can never stab you in the back
There's nothing you could do to stop her changing the locks and then telling the police you were abusing, forcing them to treat you like a criminal until you were proven innocent and ordering you to leave your own property though
It's fucked and jewish no matter what way you slice it really, if you let someone inside your walls they become a potential risk, so its up to you to make a proper risk assessment and decide if things are worth it
Good luck doing that when women are ticking time bombs most of the time
