Is hard money the final redpill?
The government rules over you, because they create money.
Communism relies on state created money.
I would go as far that Fiat money is half way to communism
Creating money from nothing is the ultimate tyrannical power.

Debt and the ability to enforce repayment is the true currency. Gold is just another commodity thats value can be manipulated.

Consolidation and control of gold is one of the laid plans of the Protocols. Having some gold coins isn’t going to save us. Bitcoin could be the way out, however I’m not thrilled about the things I’m seeing and hearing from many bitcoin OG’s

Not exactly.
Each country's central bank directs the printing of money.
>the president does not order the treasury to print money, or have the ability to set interest rates for lending
The last US president to do so was assassinated. Welcome to the global central banking rat's nest.

Been into Bitcoin over 10 years and it's inna funny place.

All the systems for lightning network are beta software at best.
You need professional server backups to confidently run a business on LN.
I personally wouldn't risk more than a few thousand in channels.
The main chain works very well for holding the asset still but you can't onboard the world onto the main chain without throughput concerns.

Core .30 is adding more data to transactions making it more difficult for the little guy to sync nodes and do transactions. It's a little overblown, but there needs to be strict rules around data throughput and costs.

Ecash projects are cool but again it relies on server backups.
If anyone is interested download primal or any nostr implementation and play around.

My worry is anyone coming into this space seriously needs to be a professional and adding laws regulating this software will cripple its potential.

There's cool p2p marketplaces still but things are difficult and change rapidly when you get into lightning and ecash and you lose your sovereignty going off main chain guarantees.

So it's still a great project, the price will continue to rise, but how it's going to be developed further is up in the air.

Some of the regulatory measures that are floating around are a bit disheartening. They want CEX’s and software wallets to only generate a single address per user.

Also when I was looking at upgrading my old cold card I was browsing the other options. In particular the Blockstream Jade is weird because the private keys aren’t truly held on the device but on a “blind server”. Seems like a step in the wrong direction coming from Adam Back. I could be totally wrong about the security of a blind server but my cynical perspective is what got me into Bitcoin in the first place.

That's a completely brain-dead theory. Can you formulate a single argument to back this up?

Central banking is the fifth plank to the communist manifesto.

Property tax is the first plank to the communist manifesto and income tax is the second. Inheritance tax is the third plank, civil asset forfeiture is the fourth. Central banking is the fifth plank, car registration and radio loicensing is the sixth, zoning and planning and things like the CRP program are the seventh and ninth. "Free Education for All Children in Public Schools" is the tenth plank. (But don't tell Americans that they are communists. It just pisses them off.)

Cheers!
