Remember this? I thought Ukraine had epically wiped out Russia's entire airforce with this attack. OSINTdefender told me Russia was finished, so why hasn't Russia surrendered yet? Why do Ukrainians keep dying in the meat grinder? Why do Europeans keep begging for US intervention while Putin refuses to negotiate?
Can someone explain?

The main issue is that they're never getting those back, they're out of production and will never be produced. Russia also does not produce and has no plans to produce any more strategic bombers in the next 10-20 years (possibly more, since it's Russia).
So it's not really a money issue, since they can't spend it to get anything back.

There's also the small matter of strat bombers being obsolete since the late 50s. They made a brief comeback for carpet bombing purposes. But once missile defenses became widespread, they became obsolete again.

Their sole use now is dropping cruise missiles from high altitude. That and saber rattling.

With the way things are going, the war will end with the last Ukranian.

Alright gaylords, here's the raw truth of it. Ukraine hit some ancient planes the Russians are using to launch cruise missiles.
Can you guess as to what these ancient planes are being replaced with? It's the Su-34 which is the actual backbone of Russia's air to ground capability. And there are a few hundred of those, with new ones added to the piles every few months.
Point being, this was a media operation intended for anyone too dumb to know how airplanes work. That YOU in case you didn't notice.
This also goes for the oil and gas industry you retarded, gullible cuckolds. In both cases the damage is neglible and the bombing of the hohol and their "advisors" continues on a daily basis.

Yes, but having the ability to launch a lot of cruise missiles is still very much useful, even in war in Ukraine. For saturation purposes against a competent enemy, it's a must.

>Yes, but having the ability to launch a lot of cruise missiles is still very much useful, even in war in Ukraine.
They can still do that from other aircraft. And do.

Their loss was more of a prestige thing, than anything. It'd be like us losing some of our mothballed destroyers due to a terrorist attack. Embarrassing? Yup. Strategically unimportant though.
Anonymous (ID: Na//tCqR) Ukraine No.519689674 [Report] >>519689752
>>519686486 (OP)
Because they lied about the number of destroyed aircraft. That never happened before and now again...
And they've hit old shit. Medved is fucking 70 year old. They are being flown to just basically use up the remaining resource. Swans haven't been hit and new ones are being produced every year.
And Russia is actually expanding bomber airfields now. Also have built a bunch of concrete hangars.
That's the funniest thing, all those provocations, media stunt attacks. They don't yield any real result, there's no Russian collapse that idiots been repeating for years now. No strategic defeat. It only stimulates stagnant and corrupt system to improve. As the result the Russian military and industry only becomes bigger, more efficient and experienced. With Russia before 22 and let alone 14, it would be unironically better to do nothing and win. Because there's no motivation in general population, and the elites were happy selling out everything to the west. Everything was rotting from within. But your retarded policies simply forced the country to act. Let alone the geopolitical catastrophe you cause by making Russia align with Iran and China. The whole unipolar moment will go down in history as how you can fuck everything up so quickly, having all the card ls on your hands. And khokhols as national suicide speedrun winners.

It's very funny the dichotomy of jews hating Ukrainians because they dared fight back against the jewish-run NKVD during WW2, but also leading Ukrainians into an intentionally created meatgrinder. And Ukrainians put up with it instead of liquidating their jews.

At the cost of some FPV drones and some lynched russian truck driver it was quite a steal. And they're not making more because they were broke as fuck, not because the need for them disappeared.
>>519689632
Now they'll have to pay out of the wazoo to get already obsolete Tu-160s out that can't carry half the stuff Tu-95 can. But yeah, as long as there's no nuclear warfare, it's irrelevant. But Russia really likes to threaten people with that and now they have 1/3 of their fleet less to threaten with.

All parties use this conflict to dispose of equipment that cannot be repaired or is too expensive too repair.
You have not seen these planes in the conflict zone even once.
All major strikes are carried out either by fighter jets or attack helicopters.

What I would do is make them have false targets.
