Weight classes exist because given equal skill, 70lbs is an insurmountable advantage in a fight.
But that isn't what happened here. Guys who are experienced in fights and weigh 250 lbs don't jump people. They don't have to. They just challenge people to fights, and then back off of whatever they were saying or doing.
