Let me ask you a question OP. Would you go 50/50 on a business proposition with a partner who has a murky past, has legal protection and a right to take custody of your business and half its assets, who doesn't have any contractual obligations to contribute to the business and has an entire societal machine backing and making excuses for their shit behavior?
If the answer is yes, marriage is good. If the answer is no, go the single fatherhood by surrogacy route.
