Obama had one billionaire on his cabinet, Biden had zero. Trump has 13 billionaires and the support of the finance industry through the backing of Vance. Biden was still talking about greedflation, having billionaires pay their fair share, and was actually the first president to stand with a picketing strike. One factor was the lack of leadership and support for OWS. No organization. It was naturally doomed to fail without the sudden unplanned rise of an intelligent charismatic leader that can organize and lead without material support and against media narratives. Liberal media was against them.
So they fizzled out while corporations shifted to shit like cultural, ethnic, and gay issues which gives anons here the impression of liberal support and marxist capture. A CEO gets murdered, liberals still support him, the right hates him, and anons still make threads asking why liberals are the biggest supporters of the free market economy.
That reminds me, another part is semantics. Reagan and his supporters hate liberals but also are liberals. As in they hate social liberals, but support the free market economy, including the deregulation of the stock market. That sort of free market deregulation is known as liberalism too, so it can get confusing. Republicans are economic liberals.
