The idea of a superhuman race of people is obvious bullshit but it's compelling so it's easy to get people to believe in it. Once they believe in it they'll do all kinds of mental gymnastics to justify why they're part of that group. It's a very old idea as well as evidenced by the "God's chosen people" meme shit the jews push. It's just about controlling people by making them feel better about their shit lives. You don't have to achieve or demand more when you're told you're simply better by virtue of existing as a member of the "chosen few". Oh one of the chosen few wouldn't act that way so don't do that
