Last year I sold my 1986 mint-condition MR2 to a 25 year old black kid. For $25K! I couldn't believe it. He just had to have it because "I love everything about the 80s". He couldn't even drive stick; I drove during the test drive. He brought his mechanic to inspect it, and then agreed to pay my asking. It was in museum condition with only 22K miles, but come on man, it's almost 40 years old. Oh well, I didn't tell him that I paid $8K for it six years ago, and put about $2K into replacing engine components. It was a real head scratcher.

I was born in 2004, my car is older than I am. All but one of my friends cars are older than they are (excluding the oldheads I know). I will NEVER buy a car made past 2008 (as a rule of thumb).

Modern cars are absolute ASS. soulless spyware ridden nanny overengineered cuckboxes. Buying a 90s or 2000s era car with hydraulic steering, a tested 6 or 8 cylinder motor and not having gay ass screens everywhere is just good taste and prudent

I was sad. I drove it for a week before they got the motor out. people would point and laugh
