This is a perfect example of what’s actually happening in the economy, masked by the AI bubble and the top 10–15 components of the market. Once people realize AGI isn’t coming anytime soon, and that most of this “AI spending” is just recycled liquidity with zero near-term cash flow, the unwind will be violent. This is what is in store for the entire market on the other end of this melt-up. There's still more juice left in the tank though.

Chipotle has rebranded twice in 18 months since they killed a bunch of people with their unsanitary bullshit.
Took Jack in the Box a decade plus to get back into the regional market where they killed people, and that was just bad lettuce. It wasn't their food prep process itself that killed them in Dallas.
>tldr: chipotle is fucked and their stock is fucked and that's entirely normal
The market is on the biggest bubble in human history, no question. But to pretend Chipotle is the canary in this coalmine is just fucking retarded enough to get posted on /pol/.

The best time to eat at Chipotle was prior to them selling out to corporate. Sad, many such cases!

Let's establish a statement:
>A: when you buy stock you directly or indirectly fund the company
>B: you can think of a stock as a short term loan you gave to the company with no guarantee of return, if the company performs well you receive profit if it doesn't you lose money

Now this statement in mind, we will consider some scenarios.
>1) you invest in goyslop but think that goyslop is destructive to the human race. You simultaneously fund the production and distribution of goyslop and hope that all goyslop is banned
>you dont want the government to infringe your privacy but Palantir and other AI related (nvidia for example) stocks are doing well. You hope that Palantir grows but also hope it doesn't exist because it's just fucked
>you invest in any fortune 500 company. The company lays off 5000 Americans and hires 200000 Indians because that's cost efficient and stock value will rise. You don't want jeets but you need to want jeets because your wallet grows thicker.
Stocks are a massive double think.

I will tell (you) something I think you don't notice yet.
For the past couple of weeks the federal reserve and central banking have been pumping certain nasdaq stocks to make nasdaq and thus the burger shekel look stronger than what it really is.
For whatever reason the big part of the stocks from the new york stock exchange are all going down. But the think is that last week downy jones and this week nasdaq stocks were not going up normally, they were literally going up by massive upwards cliffs, meanwhile the NYES stocks were going down by the same cliffs those other two indexes were going up.
PM were also being shorted and exactly at the same time nasdaq and downy associated stocks went up by cliffs.
This chipotle thing is down exactly at the same time by a similar amount and graph shape as other NYSE stocks
Pic rel is a random stock from NSYE. Exactly the same graph at the cliff. This is the same across the NYSE but today it seems that also some nasdaq are also doing that same shame but just s few like ebay

Essentially yes.
America doesn't actually produce any real tangible wealth
It's all just the same money circled around over and over and given a couple of pennies to the chosen few so they can buy luxury goods like premium canned soups

One of my investments are based on US technology stocks. Always had good returns but lately it went crazy high, probably as part of the pumping you've described.
Already sold most of it and bought hungarian government bonds. Less interest rate but safer. Maybe it was a bit early but at least I'll avoid the bubble burst.

Maybe, maybe not. I remember the dotcom bubble, everything seemed fine on the surface even months before it went crashing down. And back then the rest of the economy wasn't this deep in the shit and the bubble wasn't nearly this huge.

Dotcom bust essentially happened when people were started asking when all the investments will show returns. Same question is coming up with the AI and nobody has a decent answer.
With the petrodollar seemingly going to the way of the dodo at the same time the collapse will be fucking brutal.

I'm sad I missed prime Chipotle. I always told myself I'd go there sometime but always forgot to go. I don't know if that's worse or having once been a Chik-Fil-A enjoyer who watched them fall to corporatism. The last time I went I got a sad boring chicken sandwich crafted by brown uncaring hands. No wonder there's never a line anymore.
