Why are European Liberals seemingly so chill with losing national identity and values? What I mean is that Europe is becoming Islamophilic. By 2050, if immigration levels remain high, Muslims will be
-17.2% of Britain.
-18% of France.
-19.7% of Germany.
A shocking 30.6% of Sweden.
I'm just curious why Liberals want to allow this to happen. Because, from what I know, Islam is incompatible with the West. Take Qur'an 4:34, which states "Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allāh has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth."
This obviously goes against gender equality, which has been a staple of European values for a while now. Of course, they won't be the majority, but they can certainly decide elections in a tight parliamentary system. Europe WILL undergo de-Liberalization if the Muslim population grows to those heights.
And they aren't assimilating either (Croatian Muslims are probably the best integrated in Europe, but they'll only be 2.1% by 2050). In fact, Zoomer Muslims are more conservative than their parents. It's not like Australia or America, where Muslims are more moderate.
The most common reason I hear is economic, that they need foreign labor. But as Europe's population declines, the wages will be higher to cope with less demand. That's just something that happens. Plus, is the economy worth your nation? it genuinely seems like a conflict of interest to European Liberals.
