Now here's a dose of reality. Alberta and Sas (to a lesser degree) separatism would be alleviated by Quebec leaving.

No Quebec? No 6 gorillion in equalization payments. No Quebec? Less resistance to oil and gas industry. No Quebec? No bilingual elite. No Quebec? Conservatives overnight become more represented as 20% of Canada that hates conservatives suddenly disappears.

First of Alaska exists and we use boats and Canadian roads. Canada will be able to continue to use American roads and they will also be able to use Quebecois roads as I'm sure both will want a free trade agreement and Canada will secure a transit corridor. Quebec will follow France's lead in foreign affairs and join NATO etc.

Basically, Canada gets STRONGER with an independent Quebec, who is a welfare queen who currently is shitting all over the Canadian constitution with Legault's retarded new Constitution.

PQ is going to win in 2026 and they will probably vote to leave, especially if the national government tries to block Legault's dumbass constitution. But the funny thing is Legauly is fucked either way and PQ will be able to demagogue on "He was ineffective" or "He didn't go far enough"

If Canada is smart, and not emotional, they will just let Quebec go. That will stop Albertan separatism before it really even began.
